As we consider just what difference we as simple, ordinary people, can make for the Kingdom of God, the message of this morning’s service assures us that -
Courageously, we can make a difference for Christ,
because wherever we go, God goes with us!
Courageously, we can make a difference for Christ,
because when we expect God to work - He does!
Courageously, we can make a difference for Christ,
because when we minister according to,
and in His Name, Jesus reveals His power!
Courageously, we can make a difference for Christ,
because when He is worshipped,
He does even more than we could imagine!
Every day we have a choice in all we do and say.
We can inspire someone else and help them find their way.
Each word or act is powerful with strength
Much like a stone dropping into a lake of life,
Causing a ripple of your own …..
“O, Lord, help me to make a difference for You -
utterly disproportionate to who I am.”
This is a prayer that the so-called nobodies in the world can pray without fear of presumption. The prayer contains a disclaimer:
“I am not great….. but You, Lord, are very great…..
And in Your astonishing sovereignty You can let my
insignificant life make a difference far beyond
all my feeble powers.
Thank You, Lord!”
