Prayer reminds us who is in charge. We do not take our requests to someone with less authority; we take them to our God who “outranks” us in the Solutions Depart ment. Prayer decreases you and increases God.
Prayer gives permission to God to complete the request according to His will. When we pray, we transfer “my will be done” to “God’s will be done”. Prayer exercises your willpower and gives God authority to work in your life.
Prayer relieves the stress of perceived inactivity. Prayer transfers the burden to God; let Him lighten your load.
